Position: Restaurant General Manager
Location: Lagos
ORGANISATION RELATIONSHIPS
Directly report to: MD
Directly Supervises: Sales, Kitchen & Admin personnel
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of the job is to oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant in order to optimize profit and ensure guests are satisfied.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the strategy for the restaurant.
Achieve the overall set targets for the restaurant by planning and working according to budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales targets
Promoting and marketing the restaurant; Assist in developing, planning, and executing restaurant marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and campaigns
Ensure adherence to company cash handling/security procedures and payment processing procedures
Plans menus by consulting with chefs; estimates food costs and profits; adjusts menus.
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
Ensure positive customer service in all areas by handling customer concerns and taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of food, beverage and other supplies.
§ People management: maintain adequate staffing levels, training and developing existing staff, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets and coordinating staff scheduling.
Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and regulations.
Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems
Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
MSc/ MBA in related field will be an added advantage
5 - 7 years relevant experience
